Empathy

Sometimes I wish I could ask a right winger a question.
I've been a liberal since I left high school and I hated George W. Bush when he was still a first term Governor of Texas.
I detested the bastard.
I thoroughly despised him and I think most liberals did loathe the ignorant holy rolling free marketeer about 1/4 as much as the average right winger hates Barack Obama on any given day.
See, I don't really associate with any right wingers on a conversational level.
You're shocked, I can tell.
The question I'd like to ask is "Did 'conservatives' take our dislike of George W. Bush personally?"
Because, let me tell you, some of that tea bagger shit, I took that personally.
Though, if I were to converse with a right winger using phrases like "tea bagger shit" would probably not help.
